December is always a rather grim personal creative time, I look back on a year of very little creativity or projects and realise that when I don’t set myself forced deadlines I really do nothing. While wallowing in this I came across the below tweet from @iamashley
I’m up for it. Always enjoy starting a creative year with daily photos, maybe this is a good way to end a stagnate one.
So with a suitable kick up the butt I started to bring my camera with me on walks and work. Below are some of the lunch time adventures and late night dog walks that I documented. I am hoping this creative kick will finish my year as I plan 2019 to begin, full of projects, creating great personal content and not wallowing in December 2019 about what I could have done. It’s not much but at least it’s something, one day I may even actually edit my photos…
Went for a dander today through the back of the botanics. Such a strange and quiet place. Spotted this classic Glasgow bench. Always tempted to do a series on the best benches in Glasgow. Not sure this one would make the cut.
So that’s it, 30 days of photos. In the end some were not from the archive due to busyness. This last one is. On a ferry traveling across Lake Victoria. If you are going to win at cards, do it in style and with red eyes. Circa 2008
Today’s post is a bit of a treat of photos from a rather insane journey I took.
From the bright lights of Kampala, Uganda to the abstract craziness of Yei, Sudan (Now South Sudan). This is easily the most insane travelling I have done and one of those I look back upon still with fear.
Final stretch of these and I shall try and get a wide range of stuff that I like. I would say photos you may like but as I am the only person who reads this it would be pointless to not at least entertain myself. That’s a special shout out. You know who you are.
So today this pops up on a video I am watching and for the very first time I enjoyed an ad on YouTube. A new dawn has begun, ads will now be funny, they will be better than the actual video you wanted to watch and most importantly they will be unrelated to anything you ever want to buy.
