Another week down of dragging my old Canon 550d and it’s nifty 50 about. This time down to Manchester for a bit and then out with Elliott and some lens whacking. There is something really analog about lens whacking that I love. I often use old Yashica glass for doing this and the manual aperture rings are a clunky joy. I guess it takes a while to get the art form down and the bokeh and crap focus is pretty much cliched indie film to the max. Still, I think it has a place in photography, much like editing of photos. Maybe next year I will get round to that part.
